Timeline Grid Information and Templates
Overview
The timeline grid is a simple research log which helps you record your findings in an easy-to-read format. Free templates are available for the US, UK, Canada, and Denmark.

Note: You must have a Google account in order to use Google Drive.

Click the link for the template you want to copy.
The document opens in Google Drive. -
From the menu bar, choose File > Make a Copy (if you do not see the menu bar, select the double down arrow in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. If Make a Copy is grayed out, sign in to Google Drive).

Type a new document name, and then click OK.
The copied document will appear in your Google Drive file list.

Click the link for the template you want to download.

Do one of the following:

If the document opens in Word, Excel, or another application, click File > Save As and save a copy to your hard drive.

If prompted by your browser, save the template to the desired location on your computer.

If your browser downloads the file, locate the file in your Downloads folder.
